Steely Dan
Steely Dan is another 70's band. Rolling Stone magazine has called them "the perfect musical antiheroes for the Seventies". Only a fool would say that is taken from the album called "Can't Buy A Thrill" (1972).

The Smiths
Good times for a changeSee, the luck I've had
Can make a good man
Turn bad
So please please please
Let me, let me, let me
Let me get what I want
This time
Haven't had a dream in a long time
See, the life I've had
Can make a good man bad
So for once in my life
Let me get what I want
Lord knows, it would be the first time
Lord knows, it would be the first time
Warpaint

No they are not Coco Rosie or Au Revoir Simone, Warpaint are these ladies with a rhythmic feel and style all their own..

Casanova stole My Sister..
Casanova by Xaxakes and My Sister by Tindersticks could be “soul mates”. Yiannis Nastas (Xaxakes) and his bossa nova tunes reminded me of Tindersticks and their Second Album, where you can find My Sister. An amazing melody, that combines so many instruments… Of course, not everybody appreciate Tindersticks… During their last concert in Athens, the girl next to me fell asleep!
