O δαιμόνιος blogger καλεί τους φίλους του Plan59 και Eclectic Guitars και όλοι μαζί φέρνουν στο Bios την 60s και 70s αισθητική τους από όλο τον κόσμο, μιξάροντας deep funk, garage, library, hammond beat, modal jazz, psychedelic, afro, shake, boogalloo κ.α.

Το Rock & Roll Circus γιορτάζει τα 10 γενέθλιά του με το ετήσιο Super Dynamic Sale. Worldwide Awards 2010 London

A brilliant night at Islington with GP , his fans and the usual suspects line up:Mulatu, Lee Fields, Andreya Triana accompanied by Fink and Bonobo, El Michels Affair, Floating Points, d.o.p, Theophilus, Nailah and others, plus the sounds of djs including Lefto, darkstar and Gilles himself! Missed the Floating Points ensemble who kicked off the live shows (doors opened at 7) but I was there for Lady Drey who opened with the "keeper" and finished with "lost where I belong", the first single from her debut album. Simply mesmerizing...
Then awards and award winners, among them Mulatu (shame he didnt play), Robert Glasper and Sam Shepherd (aka Floating Points).
Robert Glasper (super cool) followed on stage and then the energy bomb called Theophilus London! Top moment for me was, however, what came next.... ta-dah: the mighty Lee Fields with el Michels Affair and the Expressions. Money is king, Ladies, Honey Dove...so tight, so strong, so emotional.
Dubstep orgy for the end, not my cup of tea :) Anyone stayed until 4? Thank u gp, see u all in Sete in July...

Athens Video Art Festival

Με αφορμή τις δηλώσεις συμμετοχών, οι οποίες ολοκληρώνονται στις 15 Φεβρουαρίου 2010 αλλά και την επίσημη διοργάνωση του 7 – 9 Μαΐου 2010, το Athens Video Art Festival 2010 θα κάνει μια σειρά από events, στον πολυχώρο SIX D.O.G.S. στην οδό Αβραμιώτου στο Μοναστηράκι, ξεκινώντας την πέμπτη 4 Φεβρουαρίου και για κάθε δεύτερη πέμπτη του μήνα μέχρι και την πέμπτη 29 Απριλίου, με στόχο την συνεχή και άμεση επαφή του κοινού και των καλλιτεχνών με το γεγονός.

Αυτή την Πέμπτη, 4 Φεβρουαρίου, στα decks θα βρίσκεται ο παραγωγός του Best 92. 6, Γιώργος Καμπούρης σε ένα deeply soulful house set!

Due to the Call of Entries, which ends on February the 15^th of 2010, Athens Video Art Festival 2010 plans to held a series of special events at SIX D.O.G.S, beginning on Thursday the 4^th of February and every second Thursday of each month until April the 29^th in order to link people with the festival!

This Thursday, radio producer George Kampouris gonna spin some nuggets for a deeply soulful house set!
